Students Save Lives introduces school children to CPR awareness and practical life-saving skills, with the ambition of making CPR education available to students across Sri Lanka.

An international education initiative
The project was initiated internationally by the European Resuscitation Council and ILCOR with partner organisations, and was endorsed by the World Health Organization in 2015.
The Sri Lankan programme
Students Save Lives – Sri Lanka launched in Colombo on 16 October 2019. The Resuscitation Council has conducted bystander CPR training in several schools and aims to support wider access to CPR education.
Bring training to a school
Schools can contact the team to discuss student age groups, trainer availability, venue requirements, accessibility and the format of a supervised practical session. No unconfirmed national schedule is advertised on this website.
